Stage 2 - Blocking in the colour.

This was one of the first paintings I had ever done and so I naively used the same techniques of drawing, that is starting at the top left corner and working my way to the bottom right corner. I did move ahead slightly and block in some of the darker colours such as the shadows in the windows and the power poles. The dull sky was painted with a wash of raw sienna and yellow ochre.
